Space Miner: Endless Battle is a top-down space shooter mini game where a player controls a spaceship that flies around the vast, endless void. The spaceship possesses a gun that can be upgraded into different weapons. The main objective of the game is for the player to survive as long as possible while facing different enemies and huge waves of attacks.

This project was started a month ago and was only intended for web. However, due to the potential the game holds, it is decided to be also released for android (and probably PC) with improved mechanics and additional features.  As of this date, the game happens to be in alpha testing phase in google play store, which is sadly only available for closed testers.  However, you can still enjoy the early access version of the game here. 

As of the moment, the developers are focusing on improving the game's core mechanics, ensuring that it is not going to be one of the typical space-shooting game cliches. After this, the developers will immediately move in adding other features such as the complete shop system. The game is planned to have different types of enemies that possesses different attributes. This includes attack enemies, bomber enemies, and strategic enemies. The game currently also has three different asteroids--one gold-rich asteroids and two normal asteroids. 

In terms of weapons, the player will have several options of what upgrade path they would want. Whenever the player collects certain amount of space gold, a selection will appear in the upper right corner of the screen where they could choose what type of upgrade must be done on their current weapon. Each upgrade offers different attributes such as +penetration and +area of effect. Their chosen upgrade dictates what powerful weapon they might end up at the end of their upgrade. Also, each upgrade increments the upgrade cost for the next upgrade by a certain amount.

While in the game, there will be occasions where enemies attack in a huge wave. A warning will appear at the player's screen whenever this takes place. These special events happen every 30 seconds to 1 minute of the game, forcing the player to farm as much as they can in between those time periods.
